Chester Pride 2026
Thank you for celebrating with us
Chester Pride 2026 brought thousands of people together at Castle Square for one of the region’s biggest LGBTQ+ celebrations. From the parade through Chester city centre to live entertainment, community stalls and inclusive spaces, the day celebrated Pride, visibility and support for LGBTQ+ people across Chester, Cheshire and North Wales.

Chester Pride Parade
Join the parade through Chester’s iconic streets. Open to organisations, businesses and individuals

Enjoy a full day of live performances, entertainment and celebrations showcasing local talent and community voices.

Explore a variety of stalls from local businesses and community groups supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
Inclusive and Safe Spaces
Chester Pride is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone attending.
Due to poor internet connection beyond our control, all bars will operate cash and pre-pay vouchers only.

Chester Pride Quiz
Thursday 20 August • 7:30pm
Chester Pride General Knowledge Quiz, quickly becoming a very popular bi-weekly event hosted at The Rainbow Tearooms. This is free to attend with a cash Prize of £50 (booking is essential)
20,000 Women Zine Workshop
Thursday 20 August • 12:00pm
These workshops are free to attend but spaces are limited so please book on to ensure your space! This is an inclusive and LGBTQ+ welcoming workshop. We especially want to make space for stories about trans women and girls, queer lives, and the many different ways womanhood is lived, expressed and understood. You do not need to identify as a woman to take part, everyone is welcome to help us celebrate and record women’s and girls’ stories. No artistic experience is needed, and there is no right or wrong way to make a zine. All materials will be provided. With your permission, completed zines will become part of a special collection at Cheshire Archives, creating a unique record of women’s and girls’ lives in 2026 for future generations.

Ceramic Painting Evening

Pottery Painting with local artist Sean, AKA Uncle Frog Face. All materials provided! Choose one item from a selection of pottery on the night. Refreshments and Snacks available to purchase on the night.

Speed Friending

Chester Pride is a registered charity dedicated to supporting and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community. Since 2013, we have grown from a small local event into a major community organisation supporting thousands of people each year.
